First I would like to thank Morgan State University for hosting the 2010 Region 4 Recreation Tournament. The University Student Center provided a wonderful batch of volunteers who were ready to help at a moment’s notice and really helped the tournament process move smoothly! In addition, to the tournament volunteers, their food service people must also been given a huge bravo! It may have been simple food to some, but simple food prepared well is “Good Eats”!!
We had 76 registered students for this year’s tournament from 11 institutions. The top finishers in 9-Ball and Table Tennis earned the right to play at this year’s International Champions Tournaments. The Table Tennis Tournament will be played at the Center Court Sports Complex in Waukesha, Wisconsin on April 9th to 11th. The 9-Ball Tournament will take place in July and the location will be announced in the next month!
If anyone has any questions about this year’s tournament results please feel free to let me know!

ACUI is divided into 15 geographical regions, each with its own regional director. This regional structure encourages the participation of students as well as union staff in ACUI programs, activities, and leadership positions. Through regional committees, conferences, and newsletters, students and staff learn about the role of the college union on campus and share in fulfilling that role.
