UDIDWHAT?

UDIDWHAT Competition: 

Have you ever produced a creative piece of work and had your fellow students, co-workers, or subordinates simply ask you… “U Did What?”  If so, we have a competition for you!  Be part of our UDIDWHAT Competition and take the opportunity to showcase your talents and creativity.  By participating, you can allow others to see and “steal” some great programming and advertising ideas.  Prizes and certificates will be awarded in the following student/staff categories:  brochures; logo/brand identity; posters; promotional campaigns; and t-shirt designs.   

Eligibility:

  • Materials produced between November 1, 2008 and October 31, 2009 are eligible.
  • All submissions must be either (a) student created/produced or (b) professional stuff crated/produced for a student initiated program/event.
  • The finished product may be professionally produced if it meets the above requirements
 

Criteria for Judging:

  • Concept/Originality
  • Visual Appeal
  • Design/Creativity
  • Potential for positive contribution to student union and/or campus community
 

Certificates will be awarded in the following student/staff categories:

 •  Posters • Brochures  • Logo/brand identity  • Website

 •  T-shirt • Best of show  • Promotional campaign  

Submission requirements:

  • Mount each entry to one 20” x 30” black foam core mounting board
  • Your name and institution name should be located on the back, lower left corner of the board
  • Website entries should have a color printout of screen(s) for accurate representation and include web address
  • Complete one entry form for each submission (one form for promotional campaign), please submit additional forms if needed
  • Entries must be brought to the Art Gallery at the William Pitt Student Union between 1:00am and 7:00pm on Friday, November 6 or between 9:00am and 10:00am on Saturday, November 6.
